ESCO is a specialized manufacturer of analytical instrumentation, focused primarily on the development, manufacturing, and sales of Thermal Desorption Spectrometers (TDS).
TDS is an advanced mass spectrometry system capable of evaluating surface impurities and analyzing the compositional matrix of materials.
It operates by monitoring desorbed gases generated from the material surface when heated under ultra-high vacuum (UHV) environments.
Today, our instrumentation is widely utilized across a diverse spectrum of industrial sectors—including semiconductors, liquid crystals (LCDs), organic EL (OLEDs), electronics, iron and steel,
automotive, and advanced ceramics—to support leading-edge material research, manufacturing process evaluations, and rigorous quality control.
In particular, ESCO’s proprietary TDS technology is highly acclaimed both domestically and internationally because it is engineered to heat exclusively the specimen itself.
This non-contact thermal design ensures an exceptionally low background interference level, enabling high-sensitivity analysis of low-molecular-weight species such as hydrogen,
moisture, and oxygen, which are conventionally considered extremely difficult to detect and quantify.
Furthermore, leveraging our proprietary desorbed gas quantification software algorithms, we provide comprehensive contract analytical services for corporate enterprises and academic research institutes,
broadly supporting the advancement of scientific research and industrial quality management.
